2001
Silviu Damian and Barbara Zanasi first crossed paths while working on the McLaren Technology Centre (Paragon) Project in Woking. As they collaborated on the installation of more than 40,000 square meters of porcelain tiling, they discovered a shared passion for the industry and knew they would work well together.
2005
They founded their own tiling company and quickly secured two significant projects, supplying, and installing stone in high-end penthouses in Canary Wharf and luxury residential properties in Kensington. These successes led to a long-term partnership with a leading fit-out contractor and their company quickly gained recognition for their expertise in high-end commercial and office building projects, notably the tiling works on the majority of More London buildings in the London Bridge area.
2008
In 2008, the company was awarded its first major contract, the tiling of 21 flats in the prestigious Caenwood Court in Hampstead, marking their first direct work with a Main Contractor, Kier Southern. The project was a huge success, solidifying their reputation as a top tiling contractor.
2010
The company received an even bigger opportunity when Ron Dennis, CEO of McLaren, decided to award them with a project to install 20,000 square meters of porcelain tiles for the McLaren road car production factory. This project was a major milestone and an honour, and as a result, the company became McLaren's official Technological Partners.
2012
The company participated in the TTA (The Tile Association) Awards for the first time and was thrilled to win two awards: Tiling Contractor of the Year and Best Project of the Year for the McLaren Production Centre project.
2013
Subsequently the company then focused on research and development, In 2013, the company established a collaboration with suppliers for the installation of seamless finishes, polished concrete and in-situ terrazzo.
2015
The company successfully completed a challenging project for McLaren, the Tough Leadership Centre, solidifying its position as a leading tiling contractor in the industry. The next year, they were awarded a contract for the prestigious Super-Prime residential project at Chelsea Barracks, further increasing their reputation and leading to the expansion of the company and the team.
2020
The company's Research & Development department efforts bore fruit with the win of the prestigious Paddington Square project, designed by Renzo Piano and executed by Mace Limited.
2022
As the company continues to grow and evolve, taking on exciting new projects and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the tiling industry, it continues to strive for excellence and recognition in their sector.
