Limestone is a sedimentary rock created by the accumulation and compression of fossils and /or stone fragments like quartz and calcite. The texture of the white stone is soft and easily workable, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Most limestones cannot be polished, but have a lightly honed finish.
